Jeff is President of Solomon Energy and is responsible for the development and execution of Solomon Energy’s business objectives including strategic planning and channel development.

Jeff has been active in deployment and construction of solar PV and energy efficiency projects in both Southern California and New York since 2008. Prior to joining Solomon Energy, Jeff co-founded and led the business development operations for a San Diego based startup energy firm with a portfolio of commercial and residential solar PV installations, energy efficiency retrofits and ground up LEED construction projects. During his tenure, the firm piloted regional programs including the Department of Energy’s Community Savings Initiative.

While at Corporate Directors Forum Jeff worked with management and the board of directors at some of the nation’s most prominent companies, including WD-40, Sempra Energy, Goldman Sachs and Target, providing tools to assist the directors to excel in the boardroom. Jeff began his career at a Fidelity National Financial, a Fortune 500 company, contributing to the expansion the UCC corporate real estate business unit. Jeff also has an extensive background in the creation and development of early stage startup energy companies. As Principal Consultant of Cayenne Consulting and Mentor at IDEA Venture Accelerator, Jeff assisted entrepreneurs to plan, fund, and launch successful companies in the areas of solar PV, electric vehicle charging, alternative renewable electricity supply and LEED HVAC equipment.

Jeff holds a BA from Northeastern University’s Entrepreneurship and Business Management program, which Forbes and Entrepreneurship Magazine rank as one of the top programs in the nation.
